I am a newbie when it comes to triathalons, infact to pretty much any physical activity. I am a computer programmer, and to compound things I manage computer programmers. I sit a lot. Over time I have developed...well a gut. I get winded walking up and down the stairs to and from the basement. I am 33 years old. Yes, a sad story.
Several years ago I actually tried exercising and did it for several months, I lost about 20 pounds and actually felt pretty good. I figure if I can get in shape and lose weight once I can do it twice. This time I am going to keep a journal, in the form of this blog, of how I went from zero to triathalon in a little under two months.
Today is August 1st. The triathalon is September 26th. It is time to start learning how to tri.
