Day 2 - Biking

I biked for an hour and went about 20 KM. I am keeping track of everything by kilometers because sprint triathlon are measured in kilometers.

If I had one recommendation, ride your bike for a few minutes, maybe a couple a hundred meters before taking an hour long ride. I wish I had. The seat was to low and and the seat was set to far forward. I bought a small little computer for about $15 dollars and it was well worth it, attach it and take a short ride and get things adjusted before you try the hour long ride.

The hour long ride was a good learning experience, as I was approaching the last 15 mins or so I was tired. I didn't want to kill myself since I am only at day 2, but it occurred to me that this whole training program and the triathlon itself was in fact to push ourselves. I pushed a little harder, it felt good and after eating quite a bit when I got home I felt pretty good the rest of the day.
